Gestalt:- Army of Light
Shard of the Inspired
Base Attack as rogue, save as monk, 10 skill points.
1:- Student:- You gain Skill Focus for every knowledge and craft skill you have more than 10 ranks in. You may take 20 in any craft or knowledge check. Cost:- You are somewhat absent minded except when focusing on a project. Personal relationships and other activities my suffer. Exception:- Combat is sufficiently absorbing not to be affected.
2:- Journeyman:- You may craft any item in half the normal amount of time. You may use tools from any craft ability for all craft rolls, as long as it is not strictly impossible (You cannot use an anvil for “Craft Demiplane”, but you could theoretically use it for craft tailoring). Cost:- You cannot focus on a single activity at once. Combat is still exempted.
3:- Soldier:- You may modify any weapon you own. This takes 1 day per weapon, and adds half again to its damage code, increases its crit range by one, and adds half again to its range increment. (This gives optional reach to melee weapons). Cost:- While your mind is not absorbed either by a project or direct combat, you have a
4 morale penalty to all charisma and wisdom checks, and to all skill rolls. Hero:- You may make a Craft roll (any craft roll) against a variable DC to utilise any tool in a way that is useful to the current situation. If the item is being used out of combat, the DC is 10+ the DC of the original check. If the item is to be used as a weapon, the DC is 10 + the CR of the opponent. This item will do d12 + the Craft roll damage, have a crit of 20/x 2, and will always be effective – it will ignore DR, and Energy Resistance. With an additional Knowledge Check (appropriate to the monster), it can also be made to penetrate Fast Healing and Regeneration. It takes a round of tinkering for every 10 points of the DC. You may not take 20 on this check. Cost:- No matter your own emotions or feelings on the matter, you cannot allow yourself to let others down. Physical needs are ignored in the pursuit of this.
5:- Saviour (epic):- You may create one device that is strictly impossible. Cost:- None, other than the knowledge that you can now never produce a better project.
